it was a funny season this year. cooler than normal, almost all of the summer crops were out a little later than normal. i enjoyed my very favorite summer fruit (rainier cherries) all the way into august this year. (they're usually only around for a couple of weeks in june.) not that any of this has much to do with anything... but the pumpkins are a little late too. most were still on the vines. which meant the girls got to walk the patch with these little saws and cut their chosen pumpkins off the vine. they were feeling quite grown up with toting their mini saws through the field.
i've been a bad blogger lately. we've had lots of company, and an intermitten internet connection. so i've been feeling a little behind on it all. i promise to try to get back on track in the next few weeks. :D
torrey working out at the pumpkin patch
how is it that my kids can always find the dirtiest pumpkin in the patch? i love it!
i wanted to share a fun link for a cool site that
jessica sprague shared called
hostess with the mostess. with the holidays on their way it's a fun site with recipe, hosting and party ideas. i've already made several of the little project ideas from the site... i hope you enjoy it, too.
now that i've finished one of the most random posts ever... i should get to cleaning my house! :)

This puts me so in the mood for Sunday. We are heading out to Cal Poly Pomona's pumpkin patch. I hope it is overcast, and not this 100 degree weather we have been having...ugh!
very cute pics! you could totally scrap them with the ambrosia line!
It has been an unusual growing season here in Ga. too! Ya'll look like you are having fun!
you have the most adoreable family ever!
um, yeah....my pumpkin patch pics look nothing like yours. where are the masses of people behind your kids? why aren't your kids running away from the camera? once, I am so impressed by you!! :)
Hey, girl! It's been too long since we last blogged at each other! I'm enjoying reading your last several posts. You've been one busy gal :) I love all the pictures of the girls. Please tell them I said hello :) Guess what? You'll be so proud of me - I figured out how to use PSE 7 all by little self! I even made a new blog banner. Okay, so now I'm on the digi band wagon. Where can I get some cool freebies so I can continue to play??
HUGS!!

oopsie, the wordpress siggie no workie! It's me, Erika / journeyfan / scrapbookobsession.wordpress.com ;)
Do you always dress your girls wearing the same clothes as each other? I'm curious if other moms with twins do this? They aren't given their own identity.
thanks for your concern. i guess i just don't see someone's identity defined by what they wear.
Hey! Today is a very exciting day for me over at my blog. Come on by and check it out. I'd love to here your opinion. Talk to you soon.
My mom dressed me like my older sister all the way through my sophomore year in college. I still have the dresses...and my own identity. And I'm a man. Sometimes Stan and I still play dress up. Oh crap, did I just say that out loud?
Great Collin, now the secret is out! What am I going to tell the guys at work? I'm sure they'll be jealous.
