an end in sight?

an end in sight?

just when you think you're almost there... they bump the date back a few days. ugh. but it's just a couple of days, right? we're still almost there. that's the attitude i'm trying to keep. we just found out last night, and i had to tell the girls this morning. i think that's the hardest part.

there... it's out of my system now (kinda)... all of the other prep is coming along well. our giant sign (12'x4') is making some progress after some internet research on what kind of paint to use on vinyl. from all i could tell, latex was the way to go... so hopefully it doesn't peel or run off (in the drizzle) before it's time. :)

Glad to hear it is almost over for you.

And wow, you are a very brave woman painting with red on that carpet. That would turn into a complete disaster in my house!

We are keeping our fingers crossed for you that they won't push the date back again! I am sure it was hard on the girls, when you get this close, you just want him home! He will love the sign! I am sure he is one anxious man to get home to all of his girls...

I hate when they do that. Usually happens once or twice before they finally get home. Ill hope just once for you. Praying for a safe trip home for Stan!!!

Nice sign baby! That must be for someone special! Luck guy:) Sorry about the dates. It's standard operating procedure.

I am cracking up at Stan saying Standard Operating Procedure. I swear everytime Damion has been gone, I always add 3 days to his return date and it is still pushed back further. I am so sorry about the date change. Telling the kids is always the hardest part! You are almost there though! Awesome sign too!

Keep your chin up kiddo! :)

YEAH!!! You are ALMOST done. You have been so strong and so patient, just a few more days and then he is back and think of how great that will be:) I am so happy for you, and you look darling, like one of your little girls painting that sign. I love it:)

Wow....you're one brave woman. I would never attempt that on carpet. I guess the sign is more important, huh?

Hang in there!
