t - minus 4.5
days and counting...

we are almost there now. we finished the giant sign tonight, and will hopefully finish the other signs tomorrow... although we have a major work day planned with some fabulous friends from church who have volunteered to come help get the yard & house in ship shape before stan gets home... all those little things that help alleviate the pressures on him when he gets back (the lawn mowed, the hedges trimmed, the driveway pressure washed - um, yah, he does this on a regular basis! lol.) thank you, thank you to all of our friends, you guys mean the world to us! :)

Few moments are as precious as homecomings, and you really know how to ramp these moments up to the next level! I will admit that I am completely spoiled by my family. Can't wait to come home.

Your sign puts the one my ds and I made to shame. It was big, but yours is GREAT!!! I know how the last few days can get....hang in there!! Can't wait to see the homecoming pics? Does he gets leave when he gets back? When Kev got back from Afghan is had to go right back to work for a couple weeks, then had leave.

I'm really enjoying keeping up with your blog and praying for a safe and swift return for your hubby! (And I can totally relate to the pressure washing of the driveway... mine was busy on Sunday!)
