Getting back into the groove of Project 365, I needed a little inspiration for daily photo ideas. Hunting around on Pinterest was just the ticket. I found the photo below and used it as the building block for a photo of my little reader (above). The top photo was Torrey's pick of the bunch, but I couldn't help throwing in a few of the others from our quick shoot this afternoon. Torrey stacked up her Series of Unfortunate Events and thumbed through The End while I snapped away.
Someone recently asked how I got the girls to cooperate with taking daily photos. I'm sure it's a combination of many things, including pacifying mom and having become a habit after 5 years. But I do try to work quickly. This little shoot lasted less than ten minutes. Involving the girls in finding ideas is a help too. Beyond that, I think it's just years of conditioning and cooperative personalities.
“And all over the world, the old literature,
the popular literature, is the same.
It consists of very dignified sorrow
and very undignified fun.
Its sad tales are of broken hearts;
its happy tales are of broken heads.”
-G.K. Chesterton

These are so fun!!! I am glad the girls' don't mind. Sometimes, I have to do some serious bribing with Brittany. She told me one day, not too long ago, she just doesn't like her photo taken. Everyone once in a blue moon though, she will ask. I recent snuck a good one of her sleeping under the tree. LOL Even a friend of ours who tried taking he photo said she was hard. The other two are a little better about humoring me. :)
