The Borrower

The upside of being a particularly short adult is that you can often find great clothing deals in the kid's section. The downside is that kids find great clothing deals in your closet. In the past several months the girls have grown into little giants, and by giants I mean they're within two inches of passing me up. By little, I mean that being considered a giant at 4'11" is a matter of perspective. Needless to say I've had to keep a closer eye on my closet lately as it gets raided from time to time, especially when it's getting close to laundry day. Somehow this shirt swipe seemed to work to her favor, as I'm kind of a sucker for how it matches so perfectly with her eyes. Ah the beauty of grasping life's little moments off the hanger and through the lens.

is one of those adamantine tendernesses which
are the touchstones in ever age and race."
