Tromping through the Snow

Here comes the rain again, keeps running through my head. Friday morning we headed outside as the rain began to fall to try to catch a few more shots in all that beautiful snow before it turned from a Winter Wonderland to soppy Northwest Rain-land. Torrey with her parasol and I with my hoodie had just settled in for a quick winter shoot... We got a few fun shots in before she decided to run back inside to get out of her dress and into her snow pants for one last go at building a snowman.

Chesterton Quote of the Day

"The principle is this: that in everything worth having, even in every pleasure,
there is a point of pain or tedium that must be survived,
so that the pleasure may revive and endure....
In everything on this earth that is worth doing, there is a stage when no one would do it,
except for necessity or honor."
-G.K. Chesterton, What's Wrong With the World

As usual Noel, these shots are amazing! I absolutely love the grey & white with the splash of pink and you did such a nice job capturing them. I am so happy you are doing 365+1 this year...I missed your shots in 2011 (well, the second half!).

take care...and please know you are all in my thoughts with Stan on deployment. We are gearing up for one on this end too.
