Mom Advice #13

I was thinking of pieces of mom advice for a friend's new addition recently. What are all of the little things I would have loved to hear (or hear again) as a new mom? Then I got to thinking of all of the pieces of life I'd like to hand onto my girls. Not just the big things, but the little things. What is it that helps to make life beautiful on a daily basis. I have a sign on the mantel in our living room that reads, "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things."
So in my scrapbooking today I wanted to pass on a couple of those little things to my little ones.

Noel,
I was standing in line at Costco Photo Dept and was drawn to the new canvas they had on display...the little girl in the picture sure looked a lot like one of your sweet daughters! Hugs, Becca

Noel, your work is beautiful... and that quote about the little things one day being the big things... that's one of my all-time favourites.
