the mother of all giveaways

the mother of all giveaways

check out the awesome and amazing, super fantastic giveaways on the grand finale of launch week over at tsr {the scrap review} today. remember, get your comments in before midnight PST, to qualify for one of the fabulous prizes today!!! :)

i have a meeting to go to today, but we got to sneak in a quick family breakfast as one of our regular breakfast joints just down the street from our house. so i grabbed a quick pic for the day. pictures like these are just one of the many reason i love my 50mm 1.8 lens... nice low light shots with no flash. :) gotta love a cheap lens that really gives you some great low light options!

Lucky you with your 50 mm lens! It doesnt work on my D40 with autofocus. :( BUT they are coming out with a new 35 mm one very soon that I am ordering as soon as it comes out!
I love looking at your photos!

Funny, Noel...I blogged today about going out to breakfast too. My pics are from the restaurant, taken with my 50mm 1.8 lens, with my D300! Great minds..

Noel,
Can you tell me what camera you use and what lenses are your favorites? I am trying to do some research before I make the big purchase from my point and shot?
Thank you,
Stacy

Another great shot. I'm trying to find an online class to learn to use my camera. I need some skills like you.

i use a nikon d300 (i had a d80 before it, which i loved). the two lenses i use the most are my 18-200mm 3.5-5.6. i keep this one on almost all of the time because it works for wide angle and zoom. it's a fantastic all around lens. the other one i have is the 50mm 1.8. wonderful for low light, depth of field, indoors, and it's cheap to boot. i have my eyes on a few other lenses. but those are the ones i have that i would definitely recommend to others. :)
