a forced visit from the tooth fairy

a forced visit from
the tooth fairy

who would think that there would be a problem with having PERFECT baby teeth... well, apparently there is! those cute little perfectly placed pearly whites need to be spaced out for the big daddy teeth to grow in. so off to the dentist we went to have the two adjacent teeth pulled to make room for what is coming in already. i guess this little process will be something she'll have to get used to. that is until there are enough teeth to smack some braces on that little smile!

so here's to wishing you a happy dental free day!

I have to ask...How did she do getting her teeth pulled? Did you have to do some major bribing, or what? WOW!

The La Mirada tooth fairy sprinkles glitter on the pillow and leaves a sparkley trail from the bed to the window where she flew in. The kids love going to school with glittery cheeks to show thei friends where the tooth fairy had "kissed" them!

My little Emma is so darn funny! I am so proud of her little note. Before I left for deployment I was trying to get her to remember the letter "l" and now she is writing her own letters!! How does one describe a father's pride?! That is one amazing little girl and I can't wait to give her a big, giant hug in 11 short days!!!!!

For me, a photo of a kid smiling while sitting on a dentist's chair reflects a happy and well-raised family. It means that the children were brought up good without fears about dentistry whatsoever. I know a few families here in Atlanta that are like that, and I ask the parents in the household how they managed to that. You know the common thing they say? Smile. Always smile. :)
