At a time when much of our daily lives are digitally driven, it is great to sit back with a hardcopy magazine in hand filled with inspiration for getting our hands a little dirty. The designers featured in Creating Keepsakes Mixed Media Scrapbooking, Volume 2 got together to feature some sneak peeks at some of inspiration filling the pages of this special issue. The blog hop will run today and tomorrow, with the links to the blogs below. Each designer will feature a sneak of their project and share their love of another project as well.
The photo above is a snippet of my project featured in the "Mad for Metallic" chapter on page 86. My project features an everyday household item repurposed for paper crafting.
One of the especially grand ideas in this issue is the creative uses for everyday items. Terri Anderson worked her magic making fabulous embellishments out of junk mail in the "Around the House" chapter (page 98). Seeing beauty in the things that fill our everyday and bringing a new purpose to an often discarded item is something I have been striving to do in my daily life. Thank you for the inspiration Terri!
