camera trouble

Today I'm thankful to have these photos to post. Somehow when I attached my camera to my tripod I didn't get it locked in right, and it came crashing to the floor from a good 5.5 feet off the ground. Thanks be to God that my lens hood took the brunt of the impact, and as far as I can tell things are still working well. I guess even with a nice sturdy tripod, there is still the element of human error... getting too used to the things we rely on everyday and taking them for granted. It's easy to do in nearly every area of our lives, with our kids, spouse, friends and other blessings. It was another reminder of one of my favorite Chesterton quotes, "The way to love anything is to realize it might be lost."
