thank you so much

thank you so much

thank you so much for all of your prayers, kind thoughts and well wishes for my grandma. she's still in the hospital, and is doing better... but not "better enough" to go home. they're trying a few more things to try to get everything where it should be with her heart. if the easier things don't work, then it will end up a much longer stay. i spent most of the day there today, and will probably be there again tomorrow.

i wish i could accurately describe my grandma, and all she's meant in my life. she used to pick me up on saturdays as a kid and would give me painting lessons at her house. {she is an amazing artist.} there is no one on earth who can make you feel more important than she can. she's always so interested in whatever you're doing, and asks questions. from the time i drew my first scribbly picture to showing pictures of my kids... she's always made me feel so loved. she knows how to laugh... and i mean the good belly jiggling snorting kinds of laughs that are so contagious they spread like wildfire. my grandma, grandpa, dad, mom, husband, sister and i all sat in the emergency room last night with tears of laughter... passing the time of the unknown diagnosis that is so nerve wracking and scary with laughter. i am thankful for all of the family traditions she's helped to create and the heart she's passed down, and the love she's shown my kids and my husband. i'm sure she'll be up and kicking again soon... i love you grammy. :)

i know i just posted this layout last week, but i thought it was appropriate to feature this great lady again.

You all have a precious Grammy. And I know she's blessed to have such sweet family with her. There's nothing better than to be a part of such a close, loving family.

That beautiful LO is most definitely appropriate!

Oh Noel, just reading about her brought tears to my eyes. Growing up we lived so far from both grandmas that I was never "close" to either of them. I often envied my friends who had their grandmas so close and had such loving relationships with them. I am so happy for you having had this beautiful woman with you to share in each others lives. What a blessing! You are all in my continued thoughts and prayers! ((hugs))
