remember

remember

i remember where i was. who doesn't. i was in bed, pregnant with our second daughter. i was on the phone with my husband who was deployed in japan with the us navy. we had no idea the tragedy that was taking place at that very moment. it happened just as we were finishing our conversation. the phone clicked... then the calls started coming... we had no idea what was to come, or if he'd be coming home... or if he was safe where he was. our lives changed that day.

to the families and loved ones of the 2,974 people who lost their lives on sept. 11, 2001 - to the firefighters and people across america who rushed to save and help those in need - for those who made it out - and for those who have and are defending this great country... our prayers are still with you.

God bless you & God bless America

I to remember where I was..I actually was doing corporate travel and scrambling to get my travellers home to their families from across the US. It was such a sad time and I still remember having to explain it to my 6 year old daughter and just being glued to the tv and crying. God bless the troops & God bless America!!

I remember that day like it was yesterday... watching the news as we were getting ready for work/school... explaining it to the kids... that sick feeling in my stomach that lasted for a long time. I agree, Noel, I believe we were all changed that day. May God continue to Bless the USA!!!
