my ghetto fab
macro photo studio
diffused light box

so i was checking out my friend joscie's blog and she had a cool link to a sweet light box that she found on this cool site... so i made my own box this afternoon. it took me literally 5 minutes... and i had everything on hand. tissue paper from costco, masking tape, an empty box, a box cutter and a half a piece of poster board.

the picture is of my husband's great grandpa's work notebook. it has handwritten notes of his appointments and what not. he was the president of the company whose emblem is on the cover.

just thought i'd share the cool find for taking great pics with diffused light on a ghetto fab budget! :)

Noel-

Glad you like my light box! The more you play with it, the more you will find that it can be used for many things. You can make those boxes pretty big!

Thanks for the link,

That looks totally familiar! lol My box is just a bit bigger because I wanted to be able to put my LOs on an easle. Congrats on getting it done! It really comes in handy! This way you don't have to wait for that morning light.

That's cool! Beats the heck out of putting the tissue paper on the lights... that's what I do, then the heat from the light melts the tape glue, and the tissue falls off... you get the picture!

You could do some cool effects if you got some colored gels for the sides!
