my secret weapon(s)

i think everyone needs a secret weapon to get us through the tough times. i'd have to say my secret weapon is laughter... there is nothing so serious that you can't laugh about it... maybe not right at that moment, but sooner or later... it will be laughed at. and i'm so lucky (most of the time ) to be surrounded by friends & family who will lovingly laugh through the hardest of times. and you may still be crying, but it's likely because you're laughing yourself silly. *note: these pictures were taken the day before stan left on deployment.

and i was thinking as i was getting ready to make a page tonight, which came together in a mere 30 minutes... i have a few scrapping secret weapons....
today's secret weapon happens to be a cute little norwegian dog lover. she made a cool page, and it totally inspired me to create tonight! and if i knew how to say thank you sista' in norwegian... i would. but since i don't, i'll just say it the only way i know how, thank you ingunn!!!

supplies:
patterned paper, transparency border strip, notecard & quote: my mind's eye; paper lace ribbon: creative imaginations; flowers: prima; pen, brads and small alphabet stamps: stampin up; acrylic paint: making memories; flourish stamps: autumn leaves; clear tag: impress rubber stamps; font: century gothic (microsoft); other: staples

I love that LO. You're right too: Laughter rocks! How is your husband? Has he left for his deployment yet? Mine's talking about going back for me (he returned from Afghanistan in September). I think I threw something heavy in his direction, and he quit talking about it. LOL.
Have a great day!
